Years ago we bought a mantel at “Cielos” right on King Street that looked, at least to me, fantastic even though you could really not tell of any detail work what so ever because of the layers and layers of paint it had and accumulated over decades of different ownerships.
We found Charles by word of mouth, a friend recommended him and so we commissioned him to restore our piece back to its original glory. We were utterly amazed at the work that was hidden below all those layers of paint. Charles did such a terrific job, he not only painstakingly remove the paint but he also recreated one of the flower urns on the side frame that was broken.
